What kind of competitions are listed?
Quite simply - EVERY KIND and THOUSANDS OF THEM throughout the year! Whether it's a competition in a supermarket, in a magazine (including puzzle answers), on the television, radio, in a pub/club, from a Website or a survey- we list them ALL. There is even a section for Worldwide competitions and surveys. We have many members who have won thousands of dollars worth of prizes from overseas alone. Then we have the ones who only enter Australian competitions - they too win MILLIONS in prizes.
What log-in restrictions are placed on my membership?
At Aussiecompers we do NOT restrict how many computers you can use to access the forum. The only restriction we have is that a user can only be logged in on one computer at a time. There is no need for resetting cookies each time you use a different computer. It's YOUR CHOICE if you choose to access from work or from a friend's place, the local library or from home.
What Age Group Join Aussiecompers?
At the moment, to my knowledge our youngest member is 16 years old and our oldest member is 75 years old. Age is no barrier in the forum. Everybody has a place and everybody has the right to enjoy themselves. In fact our members are renowned for helping others.
Is My Privacy Protected?
YES! In the forum, members use nicknames rather than their real name. Your email address is never visible to anyone else besides Admin unless you choose to let others see it. You share as little or as much information about yourself as you see fit. Aussiecompers DO NOT share, sell, rent or divulge your information to anyone unless requested by law to do so.
Forum Features:
Comp Watch (offline) - If you want to keep track offline what comps you have entered or not you can subscribe to the different competition forums and choose IMMEDIATE NOTIFICATION and you will then be sent an email with a copy of each competition post for EVERY competition posted. Or you can choose to get a DAILY or WEEKLY DIGEST for each forum - the choice is yours. Then you simply collect the emails and make folders ENTERED and TO DO. Some people make folders for WEB COMPS, PHONE COMPS etc. This way you can work offline because you have already downloaded the emails (if you are using an email program rather than webmail) and you also have a copy of the terms etc. Makes it easier to do your shopping list and you can sit back and enter the phone ins with all the info in front of you - printable or whatever. Personally I use Office Outlook and the tasks feature which makes comping easier. This competition feature is available at AussieCompers - others simply send you a link to the new post - we send you the whole post!
Personal Assistant - the personal assistant helps you with the forum features and lets you see at a glance what is new in the forum, what's hot and much more.
